How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

Are you looking for anyone to split with for 2016-17?
  • Hi Chris. My current partners decided to go another year. They were going to leave but decided to come back. I did also get another inquiry about the tickets and that gentleman is taking 10. How knows about the following year. Please check back for the following year if still interested. Thanks for you interest.

Hi Mike, there is nothing in the listing notes about our agreement of me purchasing the tickets only if I agree with the game and team selection available after your other partner selects his 23 games. Does that need to be in this agreement or is our off line agreement of that valid? Please advise
  • Brad. My opinion is that we have an agreement that could not all be formulated in that contract. I not holding you to 12 games. My main agreement with you is that I will sell you up to 12 games at $60 per game and as you requested no preseason games. To me these are our agreements that we know are between us. We will meet at a given time to exchange tickets and money. And I will forward the available games to you as soon as I can. The agreement on the Duck site is the required information so that we have an agreement so we can get the contact information so we can eventually complete the transaction. We know that all info is not entirely on the contract but most of the highlighted areas are.

Mike, No problem I will do that now. The price listed is $31.00/ticket/game. You said it was $30/game what is the price I will be paying?
  • I got a contract that I changed to price due to $720. I could not change the per seat price so I just changed the total price due. Please review and send back and we should be set

Mike, that works for me. Once the schedule is released your business partner can select his games then I'll select mine. Then once you receive the actual tickets we'll arrange a get together for me to pick up my tickets and pay for them. That is very gracious of you to allow me to sample your seats free of charge. Let me know what game you have available and I'll probably be able to go. Thanks again, Brad
  • Brad, if a game becomes available, I will let you know. I will be in contact with you as things progress. Thanks again, Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. Ok it appears the tunnel bar will not be a problem so that's good. Meeting up to exchange cash for tickets is fine with me as well. I'm sure we can find a place half way between us off of Euclid or Harbor to meet. This all sounds great and I'm looking forward to meeting you and doing this transaction together. Brad
  • Sounds good Brad. As soon as the schedule comes out I will have my partner get back to me with his choices as soon as he can. As soon as I get his choices I will forward the remaining games to you for you to choose. As you know the Ducks send out the actual tickets around the first week of September. Being that you are not getting any preseason tickets, your choice, we have that month to meet and make the exchange. I'll tell you what, we still have games this year and if there is a game that we can't make, I would be more than happy to let you have them to see the seats in person, no charge, if it fits your schedule. I'll be in touch with you as things move along and if I have a game available for you. Thanks for your interest in the tickets. Mike

Hi Mike, when looking at the 3D view of the seats it appears the bars from the tunnel are an obstruction to the lower left side of the rink, have you found that to be a problem? Also, what city do you live in? Is it possible if we move forward and complete the transaction that we could meet to exchange the tickets and the money due? This first time I'm a little leery about sending a check to in the mail to someone I've never met for the hope of receiving tickets. I hope you can appreciate my concern, please don't be offended. Brad
  • Honestly Brad I've had the tickets for 22 years and it has never really stood out as a problem. I'm 5'11" and my nephew is as tall so that maybe why. A shorter person may have trouble with it but I have never had a issue. I also sit in seat 11 so I'm slightly further from it. I live in LA Habra and I would have no problem meeting with you to exchange tickets and money. But like you said we know really nothing about each other and again on my side, not to offend you but what would you say if I requested cash for this first transaction? I'm sure you can see my point and I'm sure you are honest and just want to enjoy the hockey but we've all seen things go bad. I'm sure we don't want to get off on the wrong foot. I appreciate your concerns but each of us has a stake in this.

Hi Mike, thanks again for your reply! Ok that sounds great. That's very gracious of you to let me pick my 10 to 12 games and you take the rest, how awesome is that! I'm curious about one thing, why do you let your partner pick all his 23 games first and not the format of he picks one then I pick one then you pick one? Or if you just want the left over games of the format he picks one then I pick one? What are your thoughts on that?
  • Hi Brad. I've had the partner for 5 years and I'm happy just to have someone to share the tickets with. Both my nephew and I really don't care which games we see as long as we see the games that are made available to us. And you should see how the partner goes through the schedule and allocates the games. He separates games by east and west opponents and splits them fairly evenly through the year. I have no real team that I must see play the Ducks. As for alternating picks one by one, really has never entered my mind. I'm as laid back as one could be in this process. Also I believe that he is doing me a favor by sharing and giving him the first choice on which ones he wants is not a problem. I would do the same thing with you if you were going into the 1/2 season. As I stated before, the only requirement is that we alternate first game and fan appreciation game each year. It has worked out great. Every year given the 20 games we get we even sell some of those to bring our total down. Again we give the list to someone interested and they choose the games they want. Just give me 10 games and I'll be happy. The other thing is that since they decided to do another year, this process has been working well for both of us and do not really want to rock the boat. In your case you are helping me as I said we try and sell some tickets during the year and you are helping me do that so I thank you for that by giving you first choice. I have no problem with the games I get.

Hello it's Brad again! Can you give me your name, this process is so impersonal. Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to this process and have a few more for you. Just so you know I'm a huge Ducks fan and was once a season ticket holder myself. Based on the 23 games you are left with do I choose my 10 or 12 games and you take the rest or do you and I alternate picks? The reason I ask is that one of the tickets I buy is split between my brother and my son, 5 to 6 games each. My brother works early shifts so likes Friday and Sunday games the best, so do you think I'll be able to choose 8 or 9 weekend games out of your list? Why does it take 4 weeks after the schedule is released to pick games, can that time be reduced? Can I decide to participate once I know what games and teams are available? At what point am I totally committed to buy? You have been great at answering all my questions and I really appreciate that. I'm from Anaheim and live about 15 minutes from the Honda Center. Thanks again! Brad
  • HI Brad. I'm Mike. No problem with the questions as I am new to this process also. My partner was dropping out for next year so that is why the ad on the site. He and his dad decided to renew so here we are. I will have 22-23 games available after my partner picks. From those games, obviously two will be preseason as you don't want those so you'll have 20-21 games to choose from. You choose whichever games you want from those, I will take the remaining games. I try to make this process very easy. The time frame for knowing which games I get varies. I let my Partner pick all of his games then he sends me the schedule with his picks. Then I in turn will send to you for you to pick the game you want. So yes the choices could be made sooner than 4 weeks it's just how busy he is to get his games chosen. You can see the schedule and then decide if you want to participate. This year I had 3 Mon games, 9 Wed games, 6 Friday and 2 Sunday to give you an idea. Once you decide which games you want then I would consider you as committed to those games. The only thing I ask is that if you commit to any games that you please follow through purchasing them. My nephew and I are committed to 1/2 the season so if you are not interested after seeing the games involved, you are not obligated to continue. Just let me know as soon as possible so I can look for other people. This is a very simple process. We cannot make 45 games like we've done before thus the split partner so i'm more than happy to work with you.

Sorry, more questions. Are the seats offered (I need two) Sec 432 H 11& 12 obstructed in any way? Your listing says $31 but in your email you state the tickets are $30, which is the correct price? Also, are there any service fees added? Thanks! Brad P.
  • No problem as we have to know what's going on. There is no obstruction as in rails or poles. There is a small portion of glass on the rail that in the center ice portion but it in no way blocks the view. Please go to Duck web site and look at the 3D seating chart to get an idea. I've had these seats since they started and right on the blue line area. On the price, when I did the original ad, I did not know current pricing. $30 per ticket, $60 per games is the correct price. I would have stated in my first email but I wanted to make sure you were interested still. There are no service fees or any other additional charges. You pay what I pay. Just a comment that your portion does not include playoff tickets. I have never ordered additional tickets for the playoff but we can look into that later on if you are interested Any more questions, please ask. Hopefully I covered everything.

Hi, Thanks for your reply! Yes I am very interested. Couple more questions, would you sell 12 games instead of 10? I would not want any preseason games is that ok too? Thanks, Brad P.
  • Brad, I've had these seats since the Ducks started and have been partnering for about 5 years. We are very easy to get along with and want everything to run smooth with tickets and money. We are ok with the 12 games of your choice. Just to let you know we alternate with our partners opening night and fan appreciation night so those two games would not be available. I'm ok with no preseason.

I'm looking to purchase 10 to 15 games per season, will you entertain an offer like that or will you only accept 1/2 season offers? If you will accept 10 to 15 games how do we choose what games I go to? Thanks Brad P
  • Hi Brad. Just today I got response form our current split partner that they will renew again this year. However, if you would like to buy 10 games from our games that we get that would be ok. I allow the people that split with us first choice of games they want then I get the remaining ones. If you are interested I can tell you what games we end up with and let you decide on 10 of those. I would probably know the games available about 4 weeks after the schedule comes out. Tickets are $30 per seat sold in pairs for a total of $60 per game.
